The St. Nicholas Cathedral Foundation was founded with the blessing of the Dean in 2002. The Foundation was formed to tap into the entrepreneurial talents of some of the members in the Russian Orthodox community. Its main purpose is to explore and implement new and extraordinary fundraising methods which would fund special projects for the Cathedral.

Since its inception the Foundation has sponsored two successful concerts which supported the community’s cultural needs as well answered the call for fundraising. Also, two lucrative auctions were arranged and held at the Women’s University Club which helped raise large sums for cathedral restoration projects and our two schools.

Besides its fundraising activities, the Foundation organized and sponsored special parish events and publications such as the 75th Anniversary Banquet and the beautifully designed booklet “ Celebrating 75 Years ”.
